The preparatory work for the hot-installation of the coupling firstly wash and wipe the matching part of the journal and the coupling with gasoline or kerosene.If there is roughness and damage, use whetstone and fine emery cloth to eliminate it, or use other methods to deal with it.Secondly, use a micrometer and a micrometer to carefully measure the inner diameter of the journal and coupling.At least three points should be measured along the length of each coupling, and each point should be set to 900 positions (higher thermal sleeve fits should be set to 600 positions) and repeated measurement. If the measurement results do not meet the paper or tolerance requirements, use a scraper Or repair the inner hole of the coupling with a semicircular file to prevent scraping the journal.

　　1. Before heating, check whether the coupling is paired with another coupling, especially if several units of the same unit are installed, find out the pair number or mark.

　　2. There should be no defects such as burrs and scratches on the mating surface of the coupling.

　　3. Always record the temperature rise and current value, and the temperature rise should not exceed 30°C per hour.

　　4. After the temperature rises to 100°C, the inspectors must pay attention to safety.

　　5. When using the sample rod to measure the aperture value, it must be powered off.

　　6. Fire fighting equipment should be provided in the heating area.

　　7. After the coupling is hot-mounted on the shaft, use cold water to pour the journal to cool it to prevent the heat from spreading to the armature and affecting the insulation.
